Hospital and Specialist Anaesthetic fees are set respectively by Lingard Hospital and our highly skilled anaesthetists.
General Anaesthetic Fees. – Lingard Hospital
- Lingard Hospital Fees $1780-$3,500 (Fees are dependant time)
- Anaesthetic Fees $990
If you have private health insurance hospital cover, most of these fees are usually completely covered.
Most health funds will charge an excess fee which applies once a year for hospital admissions.
Sleep Dental Fees – Newcastle Sleep Dental
- Newcastle Sleep Dental Fee $ 550- 650
- Anaesthetic Fees $990
If you do not have Private Health Insurance, Sleep Dentistry (IV sedation) offers substantial saving of hospital fees.
Most cases can be done under either method of sedation (General Anaesthetic or IV Sedation) but some complex cases are most suitable under General Anaesthetic at Lingard Hospital.
Our experienced and skilled dental surgeons will advised patients on the best form of sedation for their treatment.

- Basic Cleans (Item # 111 and # 114) : $75-$145
- Simple Filling – $175- $395. The cost of a filling is depends on it size.
- Surgical Extraction: (Item# 314,323,324) $295-$695
- Simple Extraction: (Item #311) $295-$395
- Dental Crowns and Veneers (Item # 613,615,618,556) $ 1850-2150
- Dental Implant: $5500-$6500 per unit
- Mini Dental Implants (for holding in dentures): $950-$1150 per unit.
- Dental Locators (normal sized implants for holding in dentures) $2250-$2750 per unit
Newcastle Sleep Dental accepts co-payments from all private health funds.
All crowns and veneers are made in Australia by local Newcastle dental technicians.
Following our initial examination all patients receive a written fully itemised quotation for all dental fees and hospital fees.
