Dr Tom Bookallil (MBBS BSc FANZCA) is a specialist medical anaesthetist with over 20 years
experience working in adult & paediatric anaesthesia in public & private
hospitals throughout the Hunter.
Dr Tom Bookallil is the regular anaesthetist for dental treatment under a
general anaesthetic. Tom is highly experience in general anaesthesia for
dental patients and has worked closely with Dr Damian Lloyd for over 15
years.
A large proportion of Tom’s practice involves Anaesthesia for Ear Nose and
Throat (ENT) surgery. He has provided anaesthesia for over 10,000 ENT
cases including over 2,000 children.
Tom has previously worked in Sydney & the United Kingdom prior to
relocating back to his childhood town of Newcastle to raise his young family.
When not at work Tom enjoys being involved in his children’s sporting events
& social engagements & loves the outdoor lifestyle of Newcastle.
